Early Learning Works Job Placement Programs

Program Information

WHAT IS AN EARLY LEARNING WORKS PLACEMENT?

The goal of the Early Learning Works is to match individuals interested in the field of Childcare with local Childcare centers in need of workers.  Workers will be paid $17 an hour, for up to 40 hours each week, for a total of 300 hours. Students currently enrolled in classes are capped at 20 hours per week.

Once the 300 hours is completed, workers will receive a Program Completion Award of $500 and their worksite will have the option to hire the paid worker on an ongoing basis.

All workers will be paired with a Participant Liaison that will support them in completing onboarding paperwork, discussing career goals, and reviewing the available positions to identify the best potential placements. The Participant Liaison will be available to worker participants for the duration of their involvement in the program.
