Ladybugs Academy

Aide/Floater: 

In support of the Agency's mission, the Classroom Floater will serve in classrooms in a temporary capacity as needed, supporting existing staff and with guidance from the assigned staff. This position is responsible for engaging in nurturing relationships with children as well as planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate learning environment with meaningful experiences that prepares children for successful transition to kindergarten. In partnership with parents, the Classroom Floater promotes family engagement in their child's learning. Responsibilities also include compliance with any/all Federal and State Standards, Agency Policies and Procedures, Oregon Childcare Division regulations, and NAEYC/Spark/QRIS standards (if applicable).

Requirements:

  • Food Handlers Card preferred

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred

  • Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect course taken preferred.

  • A genuine desire to have an impact in the life of children

Teacher's Aide- : In support of the Agency's mission, the Classroom Floater will serve in classrooms in a temporary capacity as needed, supporting existing staff and with guidance from the assigned staff. Floater/Aide: In support of the Agency's mission, the Classroom Floater will serve in classrooms in a temporary capacity as needed, supporting existing staff and with guidance from the assigned staff. This position is responsible for engaging in nurturing relationships with children as well as planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate learning environment with meaningful experiences that prepares children for successful transition to kindergarten. In partnership with parents, the Classroom Floater promotes family engagement in their child's learning. Responsibilities also include compliance with any/all Federal and State Standards, Agency Policies and Procedures, Oregon Childcare Division regulations, and NAEYC/Spark/QRIS standards (if applicable).​

Behavior Support Specialist: 

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum of one year experience teaching in a Certified Child Care Center or comparable group care program in the care of children ages 0-5. Less than one year of experience may be accepted for applicants with higher levels of education beyond a CDA or 12 ECE credits.
