Behavioral Health Job Sites

The Outreach and Engagement Specialist will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team to engage clients in Cascadia's physical and behavioral health services and to provide clients with information and referral to health and social services in the community. This position requires skills to assist individuals with connecting to and engaging in ongoing health services, provide supportive, empathetic customer service, help clients problem solve and access needed services, and work closely with community agencies to help consumer access services.

This position’s purpose is to support, encourage and assist individuals with addiction challenges, and/or their family members. The CRM will promote those activities that foster recovery and empowerment by sharing their personal experiences when appropriate, and modeling self-help and wellness activities. The CRM is a consumer advocate who facilitates linkage to needed services and activities to the Spanish-speaking population of emerging trends.

 

The CRM  will provide assistance with referrals to community mental health recovery education, and support programs as well as help with common community reentry resources and assistance for clients and families. This program will offer assistance that is culturally diverse and bilingual.
