Communications Coordinator: Oversee the day-to-day and ongoing management of AC's social media platforms. This includes direct message communication, creating and engaging within social media networks (with facilitators, community partner organizations, and the general public) ● Hold social media platforms in alignment with Alder Commons’ Core Values and post/engage in social media through DEIA perspectives. ● Work closely with AC Staff and Facilitators for promotion on programs + events happening at AC. ● Follow Programming Flow according to the organization's Outreach + Marketing Strategy. ● Create content in support of the organization, communities in the space, and to further outreach. ● Capture and/or collect from other AC Staff/AC Members photos and videos of events. ● Attend at least one weekly staff meeting, and the quarterly all-Members meetings.

Hands of Wonder Garden Program (Multnomah County Juvenile Services)
Garden Program: This position will provide a wide variety of technical and paraprofessional duties. The position will assist staff teaching youth gardening, growing, and harvesting produce, as well as support staff in leading restorative justice based circles and activities. This will happen either virtually or in-person depending on COVID restrictions at the time of the internship. Staff will help youth by role-modeling proper workplace communication and ethical practices, serve as mentors and supportive adults, and works with small groups of youth ages 15-18.
